Rural Pacific was founded by Sandra Morlacci in Jordan River.
I primarily use hand tools and I bring all my own tools for weeding, hand pruning, raking & digging. For power tools I have a weed whacker and a leaf blower I can bring also.
Rural Pacific works in these Vancouver Island communities: Jordan River, Shirley, Otter Point and Sooke.
Rate: $35 per hr/4 hr min. per day.

My love of gardening came from helping my Nonna in her garden and eating her wonderful food.
I have 20+ yrs practical gardening/yardwork experience on our rural acreage in Jordan River.
I have vegetable, berry and flower rock raised bed gardens, a greenhouse and fruit trees.
I practice organic gardening and love wild/native and pollinator-friendly plants.
I have lived on Vancouver Island for 27 yrs (Jordan River 21 yrs and Otter Point 5 yrs).
I have a few others jobs too:
- I am a graphic designer and have a creative studio called Migration Design.
- I am a Parks Canada Visitor Services Attendant II for Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, West Coast Trail Unit (part-time/seasonal).
- I have an Environmental Monitor Certificate from UNBC and I’m seeking work as an Entry-Level Environmental Monitor.
